We are so grateful to have Pastor Joel as a part of the LSF family and as Director of Foreign Missions. He has made a big difference in the lives of many, including ours. Below was one of the projects he worked on this past year (2025) in order to purchase groceries and medicine for local orphanages. Read below to see his journal entry. Joel Notes from: September 2025

I rented a plot of land where I could cultivate cabbage. Upon harvesting and selling the produce, I allocate a portion of the proceeds to purchase essential groceries and medicine for local orphans and vulnerable children. This initiative aims to provide nutritional support and care for those in need, fostering a sense of community and social responsibility. By supporting local agriculture and contributing to the wellbeing of disadvantaged children, this project embodies the spirit of giving back and making a positive impact.

This project worked beautifully and is one of the reasons we will be planting gardens on our new land in Zambia. Join us as we raise money to dig a bore hole, purchase a holding tank for water, put in a solar pump system, start putting together a drip system, and begin building a barrier around the property to protect those that live on the land in the future.
