Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Scriptures, which include all the books of the Old and New Testament, to be the divinely inspired, infallible and absolute authoritative Word of God. That the Bible is the only authority for faith, worship and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15–17; II Peter 1:20-21)

​​We believe there is only one living and true God, a personal being. He has revealed Himself as the Creator of all things and Redeemer of mankind.
That God exists in the person of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1; Colossians 1:14-17; Hebrews 1:1-4 )

​We believe that Man was created in the image of God. That man fell into sinful depravity by self chosen disobedience as recorded in the book of Genesis and consequently incurred both physical and spiritual death which is separation from God. (Genesis 1:26; 2:7, 17; 3:6-24; Romans 3:9-23; Ephesians 2:1)

​We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again and ascended into heaven. That Jesus will come again to receive all believers to Himself. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 14:3; Acts 1:9-11).

​We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, restores the believing sinner, indwells, guides, teaches and empowers the believer, through the spiritual gifts as He wills, for a life and service that is pleasing to God. That the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts such as they can bear and use honorably and profitably for His kingdom. (John 3:5-8; Acts 1:8; John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 2; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

​We believe that man’s salvation and redemption (a free gift of grace from God) can only be obtained by exercising faith, not by works, and by the finished redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ. That salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, His blood, righteousness and resurrection.
(Ephesians 2: 8-9; Acts 4:12)

​We believe in the sanctity of life and the value of each human being whether in or outside of the womb. That life is at conception and from that point on, that child has the right to live. We believe in traditional family values and that as Christians we need to reflect the values of Christ and His Word. We believe the institution of marriage is a sacred covenant that is designed by God to be between one man and one woman, and that within this sacred covenant one is to reflect and model the love of Jesus for His people.
